Overview of Bugaboo and UPPAbaby
Bugaboo International is a registered manufacturer of parental equipment such as strollers, car seats, playards, bassinets, and other accessories. This Dutch company manufactures all its products in the United States.
The brand has a reputation for coming up with innovative and convenient products for parents to be used in their everyday lives. Their stroller lineup is enormous. Bugaboo offers an impressive and high-end stroller like the Fox 2 and has a vast range of affordable options such as Cameleon or Bee.
I have always been in love with this brand because they have everything for customers. If you’re looking for luxury strollers, you can check out this fantastic lineup of Fox, but if you want a budget-friendly option, then Bee 6 is to the rescue.
UPPAbaby is an American company that has been around for more than 3-decades now. The founders of this brand had a mission to produce high-quality parental equipment, and they’ve been on top of their game ever since the brand started.
UPPAbaby has just as much to offer as Bugaboo does. Their product lineup is vast, and the brand has a lot of high-quality parental equipment that is sure to make your life so much easier.
Like the latter, UPPAbaby has nine stroller lineups ranging from budget-friendly options to luxury ones. Their strollers are lightweight, easy to use, and savvy. Not to mention, if you want stylish-looking pushchairs that are sure to make heads turn, the brand has got you covered.

Moving on with Bugaboo Fox 2 Pushchair, trust me when I say, you’re going to find this stroller too lovely for your taste. The Fox 2 was the second upgrade in the Fox stroller lineup and it comes with all the basic and high-end features of its predecessor. Your baby is truly going to enjoy this stroller and for good reason.
The brand brought the Fox 2 with two major upgrades. Firstly, the seat was designed to be way more ergonomic than before. Along with that, this time, the stroller featured a push-button that allowed the parents to set the stroller up within seconds. You will also find tons of additional storage space over here because of the very fact that Bugaboo wanted to make the stroller more convenient for the parents.
I found this stroller to be an excellent choice when going on a stroll in the park. The Fox 2 Stroller also features durable and high-end canopies with two peekaboo windows to ensure the kid stays connected to their parents while on the road and it also enhances breathability. I think this stroller would be an ideal fit for me and my kid because I am always on the go and I needed a stroller that was lightweight enough to be carried around when traveling.
It has a simple yet elegant design. The aesthetic appeal is on point. The pushchair is also available in different colors for you to choose from. On top of everything, the Fox 2 also feels extremely lightweight yet durable. You will have no trouble pushing it onto public transport when traveling solo. The internal seating fabric feels smooth to the touch and prevents any sort of rashes that your child may sustain using other strollers.
- Work Great For all Sorts of Terrains
- Can be Folded with Seat on and off Both
- Robust, Durable yet Lightweight
- Premium Design and Quality
- Compact Foldability
- Initial installation can be a bit tricky
To be concise, the UPPAbaby V2 stroller is designed so that you can add not just one but two seats to the frame simultaneously. Meaning it can carry not just one or two but three children at one time if you decide to attach the additional buggy cart to the stroller. The V2 by UPPAbaby is the first choice of any parent who finds out they have twins or chooses to have another baby under 5.
I found this stroller more ideal for urban living than off-roading. Each seat on this stroller has a maximum weight capacity of 15kgs, so you can easily use it from the day your kid is born until they are 4-years old. A large basket underneath the seat can carry a lot of your stuff. Not to mention, the stroller features a high-end suspension system that takes care of the bumps along the way, ensuring your children experience a smooth ride.
The wheels are filled with foam on UPPAbaby V2, so you will not have to worry about the wheels getting punctured while you’re on your way to the mall. The Vista V2 also features an adjustable handlebar that extends to parents with different heights for added convenience.
The overall build quality of this stroller is top-notch. You will be thrilled to see how lightweight the stroller feels despite being able to accommodate not just one but three kids.
The Vista V2 is also travel-friendly, so you can easily interchange the seat with a car seat or a carrycot on the chassis. You can use UPPAbaby car seats attached directly to the frame or opt for various other adapters that come in handy for installing car seats from other brands.
- An Excellent Choice for Multiple Children or Babies
- Different Reclining Positions
- Larger Under-Seat Basket
- One-hand Reclining Mechanism
- Excellent up Protection Canopy
- Easy to Maneuver
- Very Expensive
- Although it is Lightweight can be Challenging to Store in Smaller Cars
- Difficult to maneuver in Crowded Places When Two Seats are Attached
Bugaboo Fox 2 vs UPPAbaby Vista V2 – Features Comparison
Now that you have gone through a brief review of both these models, let’s compare major features to find out the actual winner.
The most significant difference between both these strollers is the fact that UPPAbaby Vista V2 can accommodate three children, whereas the Bugaboo Fox 2 is only suited for a single child.
This makes the UPPAbaby Vista V2 a winner in my book. It has way more functionality than what Fox 2 offers, which is a reason for putting my hard-earned money into it.
Harness, Reclining Positions, and Handlebar
Both strollers have various features that can be compared to one another. For starters, the Vista V2 and Fox 2 feature a 5-point harness to keep your baby secure on the seat when walking around.
The two strollers have the same reclining positions, which allows your baby to either lie flat or sit to watch everything going around. The rapid-fold mechanism of both strollers is also an added benefit that will enable the parents to close the strollers up pretty quickly.
The Vista 2 and Fox 2 also have handlebar adjustment, suitable for short and tall parents. This way, either of them can adjust the height of the stroller to their convenience. So I think here we have a tie between these pushchairs.
The UPPAbaby V2 and the Bugaboo Fox 2 are high-end luxury strollers with a higher price point. However, I found the Fox 2 way more expensive than V2, which gives the latter an upper hand.
The V2 is recommended for one kid and multiple kids simultaneously. So if I compare the cost to its level of functionality, it is way more cost-effective than Fox 2, which makes Vista V2 a winner.
The Vista V2 and Fox 2 both have high-end, UV-resistant canopies. But in my experience, even when I extended the V2’s canopy fully, it didn’t give the same amount of protection that Fox 2 did. So I think as far as the canopies are concerned, Fox 2 is a clear winner here.
If you’re an active family with just one kid under the age of 4, then you should probably go for the Bugaboo Fox 2. It is easy to carry, lightweight, and has various reclining positions, not to mention exceptionally suitable for regular use.
Whereas the Vista V2 by UPPAbaby is highly recommended to parents who have more than one kid under the age of 4 or are expecting twins. Though it is a highly-priced stroller, the fact that it can accommodate multiple children and offers splendid functionality makes it a winner in my book.
