Bugaboo Lynx Stroller Review
First, let’s talk about the Bugaboo Lynx Stroller. It is the latest addition to the Bugaboo family and falls in the category of an all-terrain stroller. I have to say, one of the reasons why I wholeheartedly became a fan of this stroller was because of its amazing lightweight construction. It weighs only 9.5kgs and once you have seated your baby inside, you will not feel any pressure at all.
It literally made my life so much easier. Since it comes at an affordable price point, I can understand that you might have reservations regarding its features. But trust me on this, Bugaboo Lynx Stroller has everything you can possibly ask for, that too at an extremely moderate price. You will have all the essentials you need and you will not even have to worry about dragging a huge, heavy pushchair on the road.
I found it great and remarkably workable for the city. Even on busier routes, the Bugaboo Lynx Stroller didn’t give me a hard time. I think off all the buggies that Bugaboo has created till date, Lynx is by far their lightest option. The best part is, that Bugaboo didn’t really have to compromise on anything to make this stroller lightweight. It still has all the essentials you need and you can even attach it with a carrycot, a car seat or even a bassinet for that matter.
You can make use of this stroller until your baby is 22kgs which is a pretty long time. There is also an under-seat basket that is huge. You can keep all your child’s necessities in this basket and say goodbye to carrying a diaper caddy on your shoulder. I found this basket to be very impressive. It helped take a lot of load off my shoulder.
The entire construction of this stroller is very commendable. Though there were small parts that needed to be put together and it did take me a lot of time to do it. But once it was done, I was genuinely so happy with all my handy work. The build quality is excellent and even the smallest parts of this stroller are made out of high-quality material.
The best part about the assembly of Lynx was the fact that the instructions manual was very detailed. It even had pictorial glimpses of the model that made my task so much easier. It did take me a good 1-hour to put everything together but as soon as it was done, I was ready to take my daughter out to the park for a stroll.

Bugaboo Fox Stroller Review
Moving on, let’s discuss the award-winning Bugaboo Fox Stroller. I am going to be honest. I have reviewed and used several Bugaboo strollers but nothing comes close to the quality and features offered by the Bugaboo Fox Stroller. It is the first stroller in its line-up that comes with a lightweight structure and a classy design that is sure to make heads turn.
Comparing the price point of Lynx with the Fox, you should know that this stroller is more of a high-end stroller so it is going to cost you a whole lot of extra bucks. If you’re looking for a more affordable option, then maybe you should check out my comparison of Bugaboo Buffalo and Cameleon.
The Bugaboo Fox looks really elegant. I gave it 10/10 for the aesthetic appeal and the fact that it looks stunning on the road. The construction quality is stellar and the brand has made sure to use soft fabric on the inside to ensure your baby remains calm and comfortable at all times. This sort of fabric will also make sure that your child doesn’t end up getting rashes for no reason.
You can customize the fabric into a color of your choice. I loved the fact that Bugaboo Fox can be personalized just the way any customer wants.
One thing that I didn’t like about this stroller was that it was a pain to assemble. It took me half a day to put all the pieces together which is why I might not recommend it for parents who have to look after their babies as well. However, once I had put the buggy together, it felt like a total breeze to take it to the park. My child had so much fun, I can’t even describe it.
It has a maximum weight limit of 17kg which is less than Lynx. The Bugaboo Fox Stroller also has several reclining positions, and you can also place it in a lie-flat recline. This means you will not have to wait for your child to grow up a little to start using this stroller. In fact, you can start using it from the day your kid was born until they are 3-4 years old.
Pros
- Lightweight Construction
- Sleek Design
- Very Functional
- Added Storage Space
- Great For Travel Purposes
Cons
- Difficult to assemble
- No peek-a-boo windows

Bugaboo Lynx Vs Fox – Comparing features
To make a more informed decision, it will be better if you take a look at all the aspects of these strollers separately. This way, you will know exactly what you’re signing up for.
Weight
The Bugaboo Lynx has a maximum weight capacity of 22kgs. As for the weight of the stroller, it is around 9.5kgs which is what makes it the lightest stroller on the market. Whereas the Bugaboo Fox has a weight limit of 17kgs which is quite less than Lynx.
So, clearly, Bugaboo Lynx is the winner here. It not only has a higher weight capacity but it also comes at a lesser price than Fox.
Wheels
Wheels on both Lynx and Fox are made out of impeccable material that is going to last for a very long time. But, you should also know that wheels on Fox are puncture-proof and each wheel features a separate suspension system. This ensures you will never have to worry about a punctured tire on the road and you can conveniently go about your day. I don’t think I even have to mention the winner here because clearly, Bugaboo Lynx has been beaten.
Travel Friendly
I found the Lynx to be extremely travel-friendly. You can easily convert it into a car seat and its lightweight design definitely comes in handy when you’re traveling. The fact that Fox doesn’t stand on its own once it has been wrapped does make it a bit difficult to take it along on a journey.
Fabrics
Lastly, the fabric on both these strollers is virtually the same. The brand has not made much of a difference over here but, you do have more quality control options with Fox as compared to Lynx.
Not to mention, the fabric on Fox can be color customized according to your requirement. You can personalize this stroller however you like which is one of the plus points of buying Fox. Also, both strollers feature breathable canopies that promote better airflow. There are peekaboo windows so I think there is a tie over here.
Conclusion:
Even though there is a massive price difference between Lynx and Fox, I think both of these strollers have their own advantages and will certainly attract their own customer base. If you’re in search of a travel-friendly stroller that won’t break your bank account, then I think Lynx has got you covered.
However, if you have extra money on your hands and you’re in search of something way more stylish and personalizable than any other stroller, then Fox has got you covered. It comes with an amazing design, and stellar quality and has various features that give you an upper hand.
